Head to your hotel in Kalpitiya, a city renowned for its stunning waterfront. Make an early departure the following morning to go dolphin-watching. Large groups of dolphins representing many different species gather off the coast of Kalpitiya.
Wilpattu National Park Safari
Take a thrilling Jeep Safari in Wilpattu National Park on this particular day. This is home to the island’s native stunning Sri Lankan leopard. Experience the natural surroundings with the sloth bear leopard and elephants of Sri Lanka.
Sigiriya & Minneriya
To see the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the eighth wonder of the world, travel to Habarana. Take an exciting Minneriya Jeep Safari the next day which ensures you will witness untamed elephants gathering near the lake. A fantastic way to cap off the day is with a tour of the village that highlights the island’s cultural heritage.
Kandy & Nuwara Eliya

Udawalawe National Park
Arrive at your Udawalawe accommodation after a thrilling jeep safari through the National Park. A variety of migratory and endemic birds could be found. More wildlife such as sambar deer and crocodiles can be seen.
Surfing & Beach Bliss
After arriving in Unawatuna spend the next two days lounging on the island’s serene beaches. Considered to be Asia’s best-preserved colonial sea fortress, Galle Dutch Fort is worth a morning visit. The oldest breadfruit tree on the island is thought to be one of the historical sites inside the fort. Unwind on the sand for the remainder of the day. To see some of Sri Lanka’s incredible whales go whale watching in Mirissa the following morning. Take a bike ride through the village to experience the local way of life as the day draws to a close.
Colombo
On your last day if time allows, go back to Colombo for a city tour before leaving for the airport and your amazing Sri Lankan journey coming to an end.
